About the position
The Goodbye Kansas VFX Producer is responsible for the management of all sizes of projects, with a focus on Film and TV VFX shot production. You will work together with our coordinators, supervisors and artists – as well as fellow producers. As a Producer you will be the main point of contact for the client, be responsible for budgets, schedule and make sure deadlines are kept. A certain amount of pitching and bidding is also part of the job description.

Responsibilities and authorities:
- Plan and lead VFX productions
- Responsible for the project budget, keeping track of all revenues and costs and project financial status
- Produce VFX bids working closely with the VFX supervisor and heads of department
- Plan and forecast resource needs and work with the Head of Production and resourcing to plan the production.
- Responsible for the project schedule and task assignments working closely with team leads
- Responsible for the client relationship ensuring the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction
- Ensure effective communication at all times, making sure teams are clear on short and long term targets and objectives
- Understand and manage potential risks throughout the production
- Constantly maintain project status documents and reports, providing regular internal updates and weekly client reports
Required skills:
- Previous experience as a Producer within a recognised VFX facility
- Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and successfully deliver film or TV VFX projects
- Ability to problem solve effectively in a fast paced environment
- Full understanding of visual effects terminologies and processes
- Ability to liaise and collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels
Desired skills:
- Working experience with fTrack (project software)
