What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

Our selection process

  • During my internship at Goodbye Kansas, I had the opportunity to work on real productions and learn from highly skilled senior artists. As a 3D generalist, I got to explore a wide range of tasks and projects, which helped me develop a solid understanding of the studio’s workflows and departments. This experience has equipped me with the skills and confidence to launch my career. The warm, inclusive atmosphere at GBK is unlike any other workplace I’ve experienced. We collaborate not just as colleagues, but as friends.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most internships run for 12–16 weeks, depending on the department and project schedule. We aim to give interns enough time to experience the full production cycle and gain meaningful, hands-on experience.

  • Our internships are unpaid, but we make every effort to ensure the experience is valuable, educational and collaborative. Interns are fully integrated into the team, gain real production experience, and receive mentorship from experienced artists and supervisors.

  • We look for applicants who show strong creative or technical potential, whether through a portfolio, personal projects or studies in a relevant field. You don’t need industry experience — what matters most is curiosity, collaboration and a genuine passion for what we do.

  • Applications are open all year round, as internship opportunities depend on project needs and team capacity. We recommend checking our careers page regularly and applying early for the best chance of placement.

  • We encourage interns to join us in our studios whenever possible to get the full collaborative experience. However, we understand that circumstances vary and are open to considering remote or hybrid arrangements where appropriate.
